Earn An Endorsement Now
There are many reasons why a particular business might not be able to establish a relationship with an organization that could serve as a Disabilities At Work (DAW) Endorsing Agency. Those reasons might be as simple as geography (businesses in remote areas may not have access to agency representatives) or as complex as an inability to find qualified job candidates with disabilities. Therefore, businesses can contribute to DAW online and earn their endorsement right now.
Disabilities At Work was established to acknowledge and reward businesses that have demonstrated support for people with disabilities, as determined by a DAW Endorsing Agency (a service provider, Business Leadership Network, government agency, or non-profit organization that works with or on behalf of people with disabilities or their families).
Relying on Endorsing Agencies helps ensure that only businesses that have demonstrated support for people with disabilities are allowed to display the DAW logo and reap subsequent benefits from a concurrent consumer advocacy campaign. Reliance on DAW Endorsing Agencies also serves to increase the number and quality of relationships between businesses and local Endorsing Agencies, which is one of the primary goals of Disabilities At Work.
Disabilities At Work offers a second option to display the DAW logo to businesses that may not have access to Endorsing Agencies. Businesses can donate directly to Disabilities At Work according to a prescribed contributions schedule and receive in return the same DAW Display Package that Endorsed Businesses receive.
By supporting the Disabilities At Work program and campaign, businesses also support people with disabilities. The DAW website is currently working to fully automate the Display Package purchasing process. In the meantime, for your security, please contact Patty Cullinane at 908-975-3211.
